HOW TO SIGN UP FOR MEDICARE IF YOU ARE TURNING 65 SOON
If you begin receiving Social Security before turning 65, Medicare will automatically send your Medicare ID card by mail approximately three months prior to your birthday month.
If you have not yet begun receiving Social Security benefits but wish to enroll in Medicare Part A and Part B, you may do so online. Individuals with an existing My Social Security account at SSA.GOV can log in and access the Medicare section, where they will find the option to enroll in Medicare.
